Youth Music is currently developing MusicLeader East Midlands, a new initiative which aims to provide access to training and professional development for music leaders at every stage of their career.
MusicLeader is a national initiative, which operates through regional MusicLeader Networks, 5 of which are currently up and running, supported by an online resource. MusicLeader networks and the website www.musicleader.net offer information, advice and guidance on training and professional development to music leaders in their area. A music leader is anyone involved in music provision for young people – like a freelance musician, a music teacher, instrumental teacher or a project manager – from a complete beginner to an experienced professional.
